We went to this place on a whim and I am sure glad that we did. Super quiet and cozy, the server was super prompt and friendly. The front of house and bathrooms were very clean. Our food was also prepared extremely quickly - we got one of each of the lunch specials and shared it. Plenty of food left over, too! I'm not local, but I'll make sure to keep this place in my back pocket the next time I'm around.

This is a simply dining experience sushi bar. We sat at unsophisticated table and were served excellent nigiri and sashimi. We had an order of mixed tempura, which was good, and the basic nigiri and tuna roll. Also had an eel roll. They were out of iced tea, and it was still in the 90s, which means they brew the tea, because it was late. We enjoyed our meal, which was good, filling, and inexpensive (for sushi).

The sushi, sashimi, & tempura were great! We were greeted promptly, seated, and given plenty of time to make up our minds - our server came back at least 3 times and showed no signs of impatience. LoL The sushi came our quickly, and ask at once. We had the mixed tempura, the Tuna and Hamachi sashimi, a Boston roll, and Four in Love roll. That was plenty of food! All were very good, and the presentation was very appealing.

I haven’t written a review in ages but holy shit, this place was such a gem. We had the calamari, the Tropicana (which was a 10/10, so delicious), the black widow and the dragon roll which were also amazing! It’s our first night in Portland so we didn’t know where to start and we’re looking at some fancier places but so happy we picked this, really reasonably priced too, great bang for our buck 👌

Cute little place. My son loved the rice bowl. The nigiri was thick and fresh. The beef noodles were overcooked, noodles were shredded in tiny pieces. The tempura isn't real tempura, just fried batter. The rolls were ok too. My son's favorite was the nigiri rice bowl.
