I love this place. The staff give customers personal attention, and they know their beers, wine, and liquor. The selection is the best wine selection around. They have a solid beer selection that isn’t huge but is really high quality. Their liquor selection is small, but very very solid. They have something for everyone - something for folks looking for a tried and true beverage...something for those looking try to a new drink...something for the connoisseur. And you can always find something in whatever price range you’re looking for. Oh, and their Tuesday beer tastings and Thursday wine tastings (free!) are a great chance to try new stuff and meet new people.

Poor customer service. This is my second time coming into 57th street wines. Today I entered the shop without a greeting or anyone willing to help. In fact, it was a group of individuals sitting at a table just staring at me. I tried to browse the wine selection but felt uncomfortable and VERY unsatisfied with my experience. I won’t be recommending anyone to go here.
