Huge event center. They charge for parking so plan accordingly. They seem to do a lot of 18 an older events so plan accordingly. I wasn’t really impressed. I went to a concert when they were on 600s years ago. I will have to give them a try when a better event comes through.

Tried to go to an event and it was an awful experience, absolute waste of money. It started an hour late after we waited in line for 45 minutes. There were a couple dozen random chairs and hundreds of people so the majority of it was standing room, but I (5’6) couldn’t see anything over the people in front of me and my husband (6’2) barely could. We didn’t know anything about standing room when we bought the tickets, a heads up just would have been nice, especially considering what we went to see. The speakers are blown out from being so loud that you couldn’t even understand what anyone was saying, meaning I couldn’t see or hear anything that was going on. The entire building vibrates from the volume. The organization of all of it was just terrible. There’s no signs or anything letting you know where to park and once you get into the parking lot (we had to flip a u turn because we didn’t know we’d passed it) there’s nothing to tell you if you’re in the right place. When we finally got in the building they didn’t even bother checking our tickets. We left after 20 minutes, it wasn’t worth staying. Come here if you want to waste your time and money on a crappy experience.

I have worked conventions for over 10 years and I have never experienced a venue this horrible. -Gas leak -Mice and roaches -Water leaking in multiple places from the ceiling -One of the bathrooms sinks had YELLOW water coming from it -Venue was not there to open on time, setting the event's schedule back several hours and left a line of people in a blizzard outside, multiple days. These people were in costume for the event, not winter clothes. -Despite contracted hours they would just shut the lights and heat off -Wouldn't turn heat up to an acceptable temperature. I had to wear thermals under my clothes and a winter jacket inside the whole time. It was freezing. -Ballroom reeked of cigarette smoke -Charged an outrageous amount for drinks at the cafe -Tables and chairs provided were dirty, mud foot prints and spilt drinks on them -Multiple reports of over night theft from the vendors -Multiple complaints about security, who had the audacity to put a tip jar out for themselves? The con communicated our needs pretty clearly and so many things were followed through on, the venue was heinously difficult to work with and rude, everything was dirty and sticky. And I mean everything. The couches, floor, walls, curtains, tables, bathrooms, all of it. Do not recommend.
