From the ballroom itself with really beautiful window from floor to ceiling, to the decorator, saxophone guy, the cater, the DJ, the photographer, and the cake decorator, everything was just perfect! Ms Melanie & Ms Debbie were helpful every step of the way! Ms Melanie stayed in contact throughout the process & afterwards. Within 15 days my deposit was also returned. I am very pleased with the venue, Ms Melanie and Ms Debbie. My ceremony was a great success! I would highly recommend!

Melanie is an amazing dance instructor who can somehow make me laugh, despite my having two left feet and the coordination of a bull in a china shop. She's helped me overcome my anxiety and somehow got me to step in time. I have learned so much from her and still learning moves to 10 different dances.

If you're into dance, this place is a hidden gem! Dance class is fun and well instructed. The class size is small but that means you get individual attention. Because of the size of the classes, it's fun because you feel like you're learning amongst friends. For me, this is the perfect learning environment. There are also free Tuesday night dances once a month where you can practice the variety of dances you learned. As far as dance pricing, it's the best value I've found in town. The 12 week package includes 8 dance foundations. It's excellent for those starting out!

The dance teachers here are highly trained and educated in dance, proper posture and fitness for dance. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time and plan to continue. Our goal is purely recreational, and it has been a great way to have fun together while getting some exercise. They also have a great stretch class open to students AND others.

My husband and I started taking ballroom dancing lessons a year ago at A Step to Gold. It has been one of the best things we have ever done. The instructors are professionals who communicate well and can teach students at all levels. They are very flexible to find a time for lessons that work best for their students. Not only does the cost include private lessons, but unlimited group lessons and dances to practice throughout the week. Melanie, the owner, also works hard to provide fun dance events and dinners to bring even more opportunities to learn and practice. Payment plans are available. Many of the students who come have been taking for years at A Step to Gold. The atmosphere is positive, encouraging and fun. During Covid--Melanie has worked very hard to provide her customers the best opportunities while operating under restrictions--like offering virtual lessons and dancing outside. Dancing is good for the soul and we always feel refreshed and happy after a lesson.
