My husband was transported from another hospital because he was septic, had pneumonia and covid. The staff on the 3rd floor were attentive. He was then transferred to the 2nd floor. I arrived at around 11a, his nurse came in, didn't say hello or introduce herself.shut off the IV pump, didn't disconnect the IV since the bag was empty, and walked right out the room. Its 2pm.. have not seen the nurse, has not checked on my husband, the only one who came by was just the cna. Who was very polite and helpful. This is concerning to me. Having worked in the past as a cna on a tele floor myself, I'm just SMH.

Wow, I cannot say how much it meant to me to have help from the security guards at this hospital. A recent illness brought me to the hospital at 2 AM. I was so sick that I had. To sit in my car for a while in front of the hospital to build up the energy to go inside, not knowing my car battery was still on as I got seen and checked out of the hospital. I went to my car and the battery was dead still feeling sick I sit in my car the security guard miss all August and I think his name was Jim. They came out to assist me. Limited by the policies in place they were able to assist me with jumpstart in my car with common knowledge and assistance. You don’t see people like this these days and I really appreciate the help thank you so much. I really appreciate it. God bless you guys.

Poor care all the way around between a blowout bleed just getting a cat scat done urine samples with no labels to give, no paperwork given on discharge, went in with a heart condition per cardiologists request for me to go. No monitoring done, ask to speak to a patient advocate they didn't have one. I could go on and on I would never go back this includes also a nurse fighting a needle on the floor in my room and then put it in to be disposed of properly in proper handing disposable.

No sense of urgency especially sense it's an emergency room. I don't expect to get told to have to take a seat when I'm in a lot of pain otherwise I would have just stayed home for that. When I stop to see what's the hold up I just see people sleeping in the lobby likes it's a homeless shelter. I just wanted oxygen for my Cluster Headaches but I guess this hospital is to understand staff for that to happen according to the staff that is there now on 8/17 at 1:37 the lady the front desk wouldn't even get up to take my blood pressure. She just didn't seem to care to be there. I wish the old PV hospital would come back.

The security team is some of the friendliest and empathetic group that both keep the hospital safe as well as maintain a professional and supportive entry into the facility. As a guest of my wife’s many visits, I was appropriately asked about her health and well being at each of my visits throughout her various stages (ER > ICU > Telemetry > Discharge). Special shoutout to August, James & Jim!
