I visited this yarn shop for the first time this past weekend, on my way out of Seattle from an event. I was so excited to look through the beautiful yarn selection, and I also got some great advice from a woman working at the shop (I forgot to ask her name!), about knitting in the round using the magic loop. When I asked her about some little knitting motif card decks I had just recently heard about, she led me to the accompanying book, which I promptly purchased with two expansion card packs. So excited to try some fun colorway motifs!!! I look forward to visiting again when I’m in town!

The best fiber art store in the city. Full stop. They are so welcoming and kind and knowledgeable. They have all sorts of crafters of all ages and types frequent their store, and it's so much fun to sit and learn from both the workers and community. Plus the yarns and supplies are great! It is such a contrast to some other fiber art stores in town that are so judgy and exclusionary, and chastised us for wanting to crochet or hand knit as beginners. I'm ride or die for Acorn Steet Yarns now, I go there for all my crafting needs.

There is a great selection of natural fibers in all weights, including some unique indie and local dyers/makers.
