This was such an AMAZING space to enter for the first time, the posters, the VHS tapes at the bar, the curated David Cronenberg trailers before The Shrouds. The food was awful and made my partner and I both sick. And the seats weren’t very comfortable, but it’s nice that you can recline. Want to bookend that this is an important film space to support! ONE MAJOR FAIL in an otherwise super cool theatre that must be protected at all costs - everything was a 10/10 (merch, service, vibe, experience) ALL EXCEPT the horrible seats in the theatre… the lining is so worn out it revealed the foam. pretty disgusting especially around the head rest. judging by the reviews left by countless guests i doubt the theatre’s gonna upgrade the seats anytime soon. so i highly suggest bringing a disposable seat lining / cover for hygiene and comfort.
