Update: so fun to see an early screening of How to Train a Dragon. The free posters were a nice touch. I ordered frames to preserve them and showcase them per my son’s request. Epic moment for them. One issue with being double billed but we are confident the staff will fix it. I’ll update this if not. Love that the popcorn seems air popped and the clarified butter is such a gift to someone allergic to dairy proteins. Thank you! Previous Review: Enjoyed the ambiance of the Alamo Drafthouse. Full service with food and drinks. The bottomless popcorn is amazing with clarified butter and salt. Thank you Prince and other staff that made our evening seamless and enjoyable.

Love the Drafthouse but the main reason I go there is for no kids and the talking policy. This location offers kid friendly showings on some of the craziest movie choices. On top of that, they will allow them to late showings. So now you’re sitting next to some jerk who isn’t controlling their kid and there is nothing you can do about it as this is a kid friendly showing.

I love this theater. The staff will kick out anyone being loud after the second time telling someone to be quit. The loud mouths will not get a refund. Kids in a non-kid movie will be kicked out. Unlimited popcorn and unlimited nonalcoholic drinks. Finally I can watch a movie without rude people. Also they will not let anyone in if they are late to the show-hell yeah, no more people talking and walking in front of you to find their seats.

Really love coming to this theater. Became our go-to spot when it opened over 12 years ago, and we still consistently come back and enjoy our experience. The only downside is that I feel like u get ur check a little too early, like usually when there's about 30 min of the movie left. Sometimes, I might want something else but don't always have the forethought to ask in advance. One of the best places to catch a movie north of Austin!

We had our first movie experience at the Alamo Drafthouse this afternoon! Even at noon on a Tuesday, our theatre was completely full, so be sure to buy tickets in advance, especially if you want good seats! Although expensive, the food does taste pretty good! We got a pepperoni pizza and a chicken sandwich, and it was more than enough food for 3 of us to share. The fries that came with the sandwich were cold, though. One thing I would change is that the table is a bit too far from the seat. You have to sit on the edge of your seat, plus hunch over, in order to eat over your plate. Also, be sure to read carefully what type of showing you're going to. We chose family friendly, and that allows people to talk and walk around during the movie. We probably won't choose that next time! People were pretty loud at times.
