Alamo Drafthouse is a catchy and cute theater. It's a solid theater. It's prices are competitive with everybody else, but they have more to offer. Alamo Drafthouse is a theater in a restaurant and a bar Each theater has about 10 rows of seats, with recliners. The recliners have their own table, with two cup holders. Anytime you want to order something, you write it out and press a silent doorbell, and the waitress comes and picks it up. The food is really good, better than any theater food I've ever had. For example, their fried pickles are always well done. Every bright is full of crunch. The meat lovers Pizza is excellent. Play 27 year old son and I have split them the prices are theater prices, but you are getting more for your money and way better taste. This place also has a bar, a lounge, and a video rental.

This place was awesome. The nostalgic atmosphere brought joy to my heart. Being 43 it really brought back so many memories. The food was great even though they took a long time bringing my fiance her chicken sandwich lol but it wasn't a huge deal. On top of that we had to leave early due to a family emergency. With that said I can't wait to go back. Looking forward to seeing the new Jurassic Park film when it drops.

The seating is very comfortable, and the sound effects in the room are very realistic. They don't force you to order food, which was a relief because I haven't been feeling well these days. I’m extremely unhappy with my experience at Alamo Drafthouse (Wrigleyville) tonight. I live here in Chicago and up until this moment, Alamo was my all time favorite theater. I invited my parents (who are coming all the way from Florida) to a night out at the movies. My dad was late to the movie and I know that Alamo has a policy so I can’t fault them for turning my dad away at the door (even if he was only 4 minutes late to the movie). I can however fault them for how rudely they spat at my mother, who dropped her phone between the seats and in the shuffling of receiving her food. When she was able to find it, she sat down and flipped her phone over to make sure it was okay. That’s when one of the Alamo staff members was scurrying by and jolted her head to reprehend my 50 year old mother like a 5 year old. We left right after. Not to mention, I personally ordered extra vegan ranch but I received a vegan and an extra Regular ranch on my plate (not sure how, maybe they ran out and thought this was a reasonable substitute?) It had no labeling, god forbid I didn’t notice and could’ve had a severe allergic reaction. I’ve been vegan for 12 years so I could make out the major color and consistency difference between the two (one yellow and thick, one white and thin) but in a dark theater most would definitely not be able to. Alamo Drafthouse failed me in every way tonight.

We typically go for a movie on Tuesdays when the Cubs aren't in town so we can find parking in the area and movies are half price on Tuesdays. Word to the wise, if you want to maximize your dollars and have a Costco membership, Costco sells $100 gift cards for $75 and that makes half priced Tuesdays even more affordable. Love the theaters, the beer selection and the service here. Also at the bar area they play decent music and not a bunch of country music like the rest of Wrigleyville (Wrigleyville is almost all country bars now?!). To each is own on the music, but I just can't stand country music Lol! Anyway, they don't play a bunch of country here at that is something I appreciate. The food is good for a theater, maybe a little on the pricey side but it's delivered to your seat without disruption to the movie. The patrons here are also pretty respectful of the quiet no phone theater policy. We only had one experience where someone left their ringer on and got a call (some people just don't understand etiquette). I recommend getting the chicken strips or cauliflower wings in buffalo sauce. Bottomless popcorn as well.
