On 3/21/2025, I visited club Alive. The hostess at the door was EXTREMELY rude. A friend and I decided to not go into the club. But, before we left the host stand, I sat my purse on the stand to quickly locate my keys and my ID; my arm was also leaning against the stand. The young girl decided to move the stand from in front of me, to her right side, which almost caused me to stumble. From there, the girl and I exchanged a few words before she told security to get me away from the door. Her actions were rude and VERY unnecessary! She created an issue where there wasn’t any, and escalated it to an altercation. Unfortunately, this hostess will more than likely, not get fired. Club owners should be more diligent and place more importance on who they hire to work the door. The person at the door is often a patron’s first interaction, and can absolutely set the tone and atmosphere of the establishment! Her paycheck won’t be affected, but the club owner’s money, will be! Chmo was working security. He was kind enough.

The music system has an issue when they turned it up the mid range sound hurt everyone's ears. The base was great! Although I could bear the hurt ... I saw several people leave the place due to unbearable music. Might want to fix that .. just saying.

Paid $20 to get into a basically empty club then got a shot that tasted watered down. Music was pretty good but I saw a roach 🪳 crawling on the furniture. 🤦🏽♂️ Only got 2 stars due to the music. So if the serve food it a no for me...

I purchased a A ticket for an event that was held last night. Found a decent parking spot in a parking lot, which I would prefer than being on the streets parking. I entered the atmosphere and it was OK nothing to brag about. The places rather small and the area that we were in which was downstairs I was not even aware that there was an upstairs area because no one made you aware of it until I was getting ready to leave and I saw people walking down the stairs, so that’s how I knew there was an upstairs. The thing that got me was the fact that I paid 40 bucks for two shots of crown royal. I wanted to keep it light since I had to go to work right after leaving this event. Now I have never in my life ever paid that much for some crown royal now I would expect to pay this if I had maybe tequila and a top shelf tequila at that, but not for some crown royal. The other thing that I noticed also while getting drinks from the bar is that they were charging certain people certain prices as well so everybody’s drinks are not the same price that’s the other thing I noticed in which was very sketchy to me and I’m not sure, but I hope the owner does read back on these messages because that is a problem and can be reported to the ABC and which should be. I thought about it, but I’m not that pressed. they did have some drink tower or something and I asked about it never got a response asked about the hookah never got a response so I guess it’s just for certain people. I don’t know how they are set up with to be honest with you. I don’t think that I will ever visit this place again so with that being said, hope y’all have a good time if you go, but I hope y’all read the reviews cause had I read the reviews I would not have attended the event so before you buy tickets to events read up on it first do your research. if you’re the owner of this establishment or have anything to do with this establishment, you really need to review these comments that are being left. I think that your service or the idea of the service that you were trying to offer Is being communicated effectively. needless to say no matter where I go, what I do I make sure that I turn a negative into a positive and on that note I did.

I was browsing Fayetteville Street Friday evening and saw Alive. An employee suggested we check it out. A very nice club from what I experienced. This is more of a club atmosphere than a lounge but much better than anything I've seen around here recently. Very good dancing music for those who enjoy a night out dancing. I dropped in for a drink and listened to some music. Walked around the space and I liked what I saw. I have already shared this place with a friend for a suggested night out dancing. Bar service is fast here. Got a drink within minutes. Drinks are on the higher side for what we had but align with the price of things right now.
