Greg and the staff at Alpine Hut played a huge part in skiing becoming one of my family's favorite activities. We decided to buy skis and boots last fall thinking we might ski a few times in the season. We had always rented boots and skis before, which made for an ok experience where we didn't usually ski after lunch due to the boots being too painful. The skis and boots we purchased at Alpine Hut worked out so well that we went skiing many times and have purchased season passes for next season. We didn't know anything about ski boots or skis, but the staff made it super easy for us by recommending products based on our ability levels without us needing to know the technical details. We bought skis for the adults in our family and rented skis for the kids. The staff took lots of time with us to get the boots fitted correctly. We tried on lots of different boots. After finding boots that fit the best, the staff made adjustments to make them even more comfortable. We have gone back a couple times after skiing to get more adjustments done to the boots and now the comfort and proper fit for great control on the slopes are really dialed in. Kids never complained once about the boots being uncomfortable. The skis they recommended for us were perfect for each of our ability levels. Also the staff are all super cool and fun to be around. Very enthusiastic about skiing and very down to earth. Easy to talk to, they were happy to answer all of our many questions.

Alpine Hut have been amazing in helping me sort out ski boot fit issues. Both in trying to sort out boots I bought elsewhere (where you have to book and stick within your appointment time, and can't directly work with the actual person making adjustments), and then extensive time trying on of different boots and working on another pair. The experience I've had here is of people dedicated to help you, not just trying to sell you a pair of boots and moving you on for the next appointment. The shop is "small" compared to the large corporate shops, but is really specialized in what they do. The people working here are experts dedicated to their profession, not retail salespeople with some limited training.
