Throughout the entire movie, the man in front of us continuously answered phone calls and texted, creating a major distraction. Behind us, a couple talked non-stop, and at one point, the woman even FaceTimed a family member to discuss inappropriate personal matters—completely disregarding everyone else in the theater. If that wasn’t bad enough, they engaged in intimate behavior, with the woman loudly yelling, “Get off my hair,” followed by excessive cursing. This was my daughter’s first nighttime movie experience, and unfortunately, it was completely ruined. What made matters worse was the lack of management presence. I waited at the front counter for nearly 10 minutes before having to call the theater’s main number just to get someone’s attention. This isn’t just about poor etiquette—it’s a safety concern. I’m extremely disappointed in how this theater has gone downhill, but even more so in the lack of basic respect people have for others in public spaces. AMC needs to do better in maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for guests who just want to enjoy a movie.
