I fished with Captain Rich Smith for 2 full day charters in November of 2013 and had an incredible experience. He took my friend and I down to the everglades and we fished out of the Flamingo area...he poled us both around on the back of his skiff for two days and we caught more snook than we could even count! Rich's knowledge of the area is second to none - he knows those waters like the back of his hand. What I was most impressed with about Rich was how hard he worked, and how fun of a guy he is to fish with. He knows how to set a great mood on the boat so that you enjoy yourself and don't get too tense while looking for those fish! It was such a great experience that I actually just booked my next trip with rich - 4 full days in early Feb. I can't wait to get back on the water with Rich and see where he brings me! Captain Rich Smith has been my Miami Tarpon fishing guide for a couple of years now and I can tell you the man is a Tarpon genius. The last time he took my to Hell's bay way up into the Everglades where we had hundreds, yes I said hundreds of 100 plus pounds huge tarpons rolling for hours. I have never seen anything like it in all my years fishing and would highly recommend Rich and Hells bay from one angler to another

We had such a great time fishing with Rich. My husband and I found him on the internet and were not disappointed. We caught many Snook, Redfish, and almost landed my first Tarpon on the same day. I would highly recommend fishing with Capt. Rich because he truly cares about his customers.
