Angry Pete is serving up incredible pizza out of an old Taco Bell, and somehow the branding is hilarious, creative, and totally on point. Absolutely incredible! The food was just so dang good! We were already planning on coming back after our first bites! Gonna be honest -- the obvious old Taco Bell motif just somehow made it better. It was Date Night for the Missus and I and we were so glad that we opted for Angry Pete's over whatever fancy place for which I had originally made reservations. Can't even remember it now. But we're definitely coming back to this funky taste of Detroit!

Angriest of Pete’s and the most Delectable of Detroit Pizza! This gem of a pizza shop (and more) is housed in an old Taco Bell with all the charm you’d expect from the master pieces they built in San Diego. But, this Taco Bell was transformed into one of the if not the best pizza joints in SD! I’ve had many pizzas over the years but only twice have I made the journey to this little slice of heaven and you’ll see the photos of the pizzas! You aren’t here for my gracious grammar , you’re here for my rating of the pizzas! First pie was the Animal Style (Fav so far) 9.1 Second pie (today) was the Spartan Sausage Pepper and Onion 8.6 So! Do yourself a favor and make your way to one of San Diego’s best and get a slice or a whole pizza! Possible a smash burger, hot dog, pasta, wings, milkshakes or a beer! Cause. They got it all baby!!

My coworkers insisted on this place and swore on their pizza slices. I ended up trying their teriyaki chicken wings and I approve! They're crispy and the teriyaki flavor is just right. I didn't like the fries because they were a little hard from the inside and bland. I tried my coworkers pizza and it was really good.
