My team and I had the honor of photographing and coordinating a wedding at Ann Arbor City Club over the summer! The venue staff was incredibly helpful and made sure everyone was taking care of, even the vendors! The space is beautiful with multiple rooms to utilize for your wedding day. The Bridal loft was gorgeous, and having everything in one space helps make the day run so much smoother. The location is also great: close to downtown but far enough removed to avoid the traffic and parking chaos. We were able to travel downtown to take photos at UofM after the ceremony without rushing for the reception! 10/10 We hope to work here again!

It's hard to start this review because there are SO many excellent things to say about this Venue and the events manager who acts as your day-of-coordinator, Lindy. So to try to keep it simple, I'll make a list! 1. 10/10 Venue Logistics. The property and history of the home is amazing, its beautiful on its own in terms of design, architecture, and existing decor. You get the whole property to yourself for event day. Plenty of space in the getting ready areas for both parties, plus separate space for eating and keeping belongings. Wonderful that food and bar are apart of the package and take extra work off your plate not needing to find caterers. Plus, the chef is fantastic all the food was amazingly flavorful and cooked beautifully. 2. 10/10 Luxury experience. They can do. it. all. Want breakfast for the bridal party? Lunch? Mimosas? Beer? Need a mid getting ready diet coke? Scout first look locations on the property night of rehearsal? Make way too many changes to your guest count as the day approaches? Coordinate all of your vendors so they know when to arrive and what to do? Lindy and team WILL make it happen. They are organized and they get it done and do it right! We felt like we were in just the best hands. 3. Professional, friendly, kind, 100/10 service!! Every single person from us the couple, to the bridal party, and the guests were all so well taken care of. Chef made us fabulous meals people actually wanted to eat. Delicious desserts. French fries late night snack was a hit! Lindy had recommended vendor list which made bookings much easier as there are many people in this industry to choose from. 4. Lindy is a STAR. I can't picture the day without her. She made everything feel completely solid and put together. No scrambling. She genuinely wanted us as the couple to be happy and enjoy our day, and we truly truly did. Our wedding was beautiful, magical, loving, delicious, and everything I ever wanted and more. Many thanks to the City Club, Lindy, Chef Alex and team, set up crew, the bartenders, and the servers (Anita- you're the best!) for making our day complete MAGIC.

Ann Arbor City Club is the perfect venue. It was a very stress-free place to have a wedding, because they deal with food and beverage in-house; we didn't need to find outside caterers. The food was also delicious; we had countless people compliment us. Lindy, the event/day-of coordinator, is simply amazing. She is extremely detail-oriented and was the reason our wedding went so smoothly. She was the one coordinating with all our vendors day-of to make sure everyone had the most up-to-date information. The venue itself is also stunning; we got married in the garden area under the pergola and it was green and beautiful. They give you the whole venue space on your wedding day, so the bridal party and I could get ready on-site.

On 5/28/23 my husband and I got married here and it was the best day ever!! If you are looking for an all inclusive, beautiful, versatile, affordable venue with an amazing chef and coordinator, this is it. Greg was incredible in helping us have the wedding of our dreams from our first tour, the food tasting, rehearsal, and the big day. He was literally outside with a leaf blower clearing the petals from the wedding from the day before all morning of our day. He pays attention to all the details! The chef used a recipe we gave him for a cultural dish from my husbands home country and made it perfectly. The gardens are so well kept for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and the indoor reception space was beautiful. All the staff was friendly and efficient, and if there was anything that went wrong that day, I didn’t even know about it because there was always someone there to take care of it. Can I give more than 5 stars somehow? AACC was the BEST wedding venue - we could not have dreamt up better. We were going for backyard garden party wedding type vibes with a mix of elegance while still delivering some sort of uniqueness... I would say that's AACC to a tee. We had our wedding during the transition of Lindy taking over for Greg. We were initially a little nervous about the transition, as Greg had worked there for so long managing and coordinating the weddings and events, but Lindy stepped in and showed UP. She was truly amazing. She ran our rehearsal like she could do it in her sleep. She brought so many ideas and thought of so many things that we otherwise wouldn't have. She REALLY cared about us and our wedding, even after having just met us. She seemed genuinely excited to be a part of it and to make it exactly what we wanted it to be. With booking the AACC, we got an AMAZING wedding coordinator with the price of the venue! This took off so much stress for us, as we didn't need to book any extra person to serve as a wedding planner/coordinator. They are truly such a WELL OILED MACHINE. Everything was on time, every worker was professional, people raved about the food... The organization from start to finish was so seamless. As a bride, I felt like I could be so carefree and just focus on the beauty of our day rather than any of the details, because they were all taken care of for us. The venue itself is gorgeous and offers a little bit of everything. A very nice ballroom that is simple enough so that you can make it your own... (I didn't like the venues with crazy carpet or art on the walls). But they have all of the special lighting, the nice wood dance floor, and plenty of windows (I had also been in venues without windows, and it makes you feel super closed in so we loved this!!!). We of course loved the outside garden area and pergola which offered plenty of shade on a hot day. They have a lot of beautiful landscaping and flowering plants. Our guests loved getting to wander through the various rooms and discover some of the history of the place. This was great for older guests, kids, etc. to be able to get a break when needed as there was plenty of private space in the rooms. Our dog was in the ceremony and they were sure to take care of her with water bowls, etc. I could go on and on and on about how great of a decision AACC was for our wedding venue... but I will stop the rambling here :) and just say BOOK THEM and you will be making one of the best decisions.
