Westgate is a favorite AADL branch for finding a good book, art print, or event. It's always bustling, so it makes a good meeting spot as well. Plus, having a built-in coffee shop doesn't hurt. Not the best branch if you're looking for silence, but otherwise perfect for the whole family.

Libraries are the best! AADL exemplifies all of the wondrous aspects of a library. Of course there our numerous books, but lots of unexpected items like tools, puzzles, and board games. All reserved online and easily picked up from what branch is closest to you. The parking lot at Westgate might always be busy, but it's one stop for shopping and book borrowing.

All AADL locations are great but I particularly love the Westgate location. For starters, it’s got coffee (books and lattes, yes please!)! I love sitting in front of the fireplace in reading room with my delicious Sweetwater treats and my book. The children’s section is smallish but so creative and fun (the honeycomb cubbies!). I’ve also attended a number of infant/child playgroups there and had a blast with my kid. The staff are so incredibly kind and helpful. They also have great seasonal kids displays at the checkout desk and of seasonal books. Additionally parking is a breeze with the back lot especially.

The AADL staff is amazing , kind and patient as they help you navigate ALL that library has to offer. At the Westgate AADL Location, the coffee shop attached is a plus when you want one more treat on top of all the media you are taking home OR while you are attending an event. Chairs are cozy and the fireplace in the reading room is quiet and well placed away from the fun happenings in the Children's Section. We love Westgate!

It's a nice and spacious library but wish the front entrance was wider and if the cafe provided more food & beverage selection that would be great. The kids play area doesn't have much, just legos and computers.
