I can’t emphasize enough how much I don’t recommend their personal training/class membership (although rainbow fletcher deserves a million stars; she’s just a trainer here). If there is ANY chance you need may to move or could lose financial stability, you will lose your money. You can cancel early but still pay half and lose complete access to classes, or pay and try to show up within the year before they expire. They are only valid at this gym - completely non transferable. I was naive and agreed to sign up for the 2x a week class option. This was $120 EVERY OTHER WEEK in addition to the $33 (also 2x a month). That equals nearly $300 a month. So I paid $3600 (in a year) for a gym membership with 8 classes a month and then unexpectedly needed to move to a different state and lost all of that money since it had been paid off already and I had used less than half of my classes. Worse yet, I reached out to them to see if it could even be transferred to someone else who goes to that gym and they were neither empathetic nor helpful lol. It’s giving privileged. 😵💫

There is no 7-day free trial here, regardless of what you sign up for on the website. I signed up for the trial and was turned away when I tried to work out because I didn’t want to pay $40 to be added to their security system, which I didn’t need since I was there during staffed hours. This was my second visit of the trial. The person who gave me the tour on my first visit was cool and didn’t make a big deal about the security access (which nobody asked for), and let me work out. Based on that interaction, I was leaning toward joining, so I’m glad to have had the second experience before giving them my credit card info. The gym is also really small and chaotically equipped, considering the high price of their monthly membership. They don’t have locker rooms, just a few all-gender restrooms, and communal lockers outside.

After a severe hamstring tear last October I was facing uncertainty about rehabilitation and was concerned about potential chronic post-injury issues. Decided my best option was to work with a personal trainer and met up with coach Ryan at Anytime Fitness in West Seattle. Truly one of the best investments I've made in getting back on track and continuing my fitness journey. Over the next 10 coaching sessions Ryan put together a plan that helped me make a full recovery and brought me a level of tips, tools, and training that I will hopefully be able to use for years to come. Ryan has an extensive knowledge of exercise physiology and could not have been more helpful, would highly recommend Ryan for anyone considering working with an experienced trainer.

Hi! Hate to leave a bad review somewhere but I'm a little bit confused about how this gym works. I sometimes work out at Industrious Fitness nearby my house but I'd been looking for a full-time, more self-directed sort of gym. I really wanted to try out Anytime Fitness because it's pretty close to my house, so I decided to use their free 7-day trial from their website. I scheduled the tour and was all set to go this afternoon. When I got there, a lady with long hair greeted me and had me sit down with her. She said to start the tour she wanted to ask about my life and my gym background. I explained that I spend some months in Hawaii, and I go to West Seattle's Industrious Gym but was looking for a more self-directed gym to switch to. She replied, "Because you've told me that, I can't let you use our 7-day trial, you'll have to pay." I was confused, but she said it was because a few months out of the year I am sometimes not living in West Seattle. She asked if I was a Washington resident, I said yes, and she asked if I had a Washington ID, I said yes. She sort of squinted at me when I said I had a Washington ID and didn't say anything, so I asked if because I was a resident I could try out the gym this week to see whether or not I'd want to commit to a year membership. She said "No, I'm not going to let you bully me into giving you a free-trial." A bit strange? This sort of surprised me, so I backtracked saying I was just a little confused on what kind of residents are allowed the free-trial? She just said "You're not getting a the trial. If you want to pay for the week, it'll be forty-dollars. It's my boss's rule, not mine." I asked about the price to just try it for the day so I could see if I wanted a membership, but she said I couldn't do a free trial for a day either (wasn't my question ) So I thanked her for her time, said it was all good, and left. Maybe she'd thought I was trying to pull something on her to get a free week? Just a bit confused after having a Washington ID and explaining that I'm a resident that they'd deny me the free-trial? Maybe it's only certain types of residents that they decide are okay? Very confused by the situation, wish it had worked out, didn't love being called a 'bully'.. :(
