I ordered the fried pork chops with spinach and mashed potatoes, and let me tell you—the chops were seasoned to absolute perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The mashed potatoes, although unfortunately cold, still had good flavor. The spinach balanced the dish nicely. Drinks were solid, though it did take a while—nearly 30 minutes—for my Red Bull to arrive. Service overall was just okay, but not a deal breaker. The atmosphere more than made up for it, with great live entertainment and a chill energy that’s hard to find elsewhere. They also offer a military discount, which I greatly appreciate and salute. One suggestion: the seating could be more comfortable, but that could just be my body talking. Overall, I’ll definitely be back. Apache gets my respect for flavor, vibe, and honoring service members. False advertising at its finest. The flyer promised a Tuesday Night “Live Hip-Hop & RnB Open Mic “with a live band, bars, and vocals—but almost an hour in there was no band, just recycled artists rapping over tracks.i got here at 9pm an hour after they promised to start! My friend’s food only came after I complained, and the place was nearly empty. Paid $10 to park and $15 to get in for what turned out to be a boring, unorganized night. Total waste of time and money.

You know when you take one bite of food at a place and think "Wow, okay, I definitely have to come back"? Apache XLR is like that. Two nights ago a group of about 10 of us were looking for some late night food after a long convention day when we stumbled upon Apache. Despite our size, they happily accommodated us and did so expertly. Between us we ordered about half the menu and everything was incredible! I had the Southern Style Fried Chicken Dinner and man.. the chicken was juicy, tender, and perfectly crispy. The mashed potatoes were thick, buttery and flavorful (skins in of course!) and the honey roasted Brussels sprouts had our jaws on the floor. Best I've ever had... kind of life changing tbh. If you think you hate Brussels sprouts, you ought to try these anyway. As planned, we returned today for brunch and were helped by Amir, who went above and beyond despite our crazy group. My compliments to the other hostess and the chef(s) working today too. Again, we ordered half the menu and again, every dish was a 10/10. Our plates were clean by the end. The blue grits, salmon croquettes, and chicken & waffle stood out for me in particular. But honestly, I'm convinced there isn't a dish on this menu that isn't a winner. They also do plenty of live music both at night and during brunch, which creates an awesome, chill, community atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a fellow convention-goer visiting for the weekend, I can't recommend Apache XLR enough. The food, service, and vibes are impeccable. I'll be coming back when I visit Atlanta again, that's for sure! Give them your love!
