When we arrived, it was between lunch and dinner time, so the restaurant was empty, just us and another table being served. The menu had plenty of good options and the food we chose was good. It was my first time trying bison and it was good, close to beef, though with a different taste. One thing I didn’t like was that when we received our bill, it already included a 20% charge, which felt high. On top of that, our waiter was pushing us to add even more for himself, which I didn’t appreciate. Overall, it was a good experience.

**Firstly, for transparency: There is a 20% Team service fee added to all checks.** Excellent food, and wonderfully sweet server, Kristen C! Their Connecticut Lobster Roll, Bison Burger w/ Colorado Chili, Fish & Chips (pictured and featuring sweet potato fries), all very tasty and enjoyed by me and my friends... Also, their seasonal mocktail - Yum! The live music was great, too. Thank you for a beautiful experience, despite the service fee, before tip, I will still be back. I hope all enjoy this fine establishment. Be blessed, all friends! 💜

When I arrived in Denver for a work conference, I was super hungry and walked to the closest place I could once I checked into the hotel. I got lucky and it happened to be happy hour so I got a pretty good discount on my food. I ordered lamb chops and bacon wrapped scallops. The scallops couldn't have been any better - 10/10. The lamb chops were cooked well but I didn't much care for the sauce on them. It wasn't bad, just not great either. I think the happy hour pricing for these items was on par with how much they should cost so I probably wouldn't buy them regular price. I sat at the bar since I was solo and the bartender was quick to greet me and take my order. She was very nice, but she stressed me out throughout my entire meal. She was SOO busy, and clanking around the bar so much it was hard to enjoy myself. She didn't have time to talk to anyone at all, she was full speed throughout my entire visit. I don't know why there wasn't anyone there to help her. She seemed like she was stress buzzing around and it definitely impacted my experience. Besides that, I had asked if it was possible to split my check into two, one with the food and one with the alcohol and she said yes, but BOTH tickets would be required to tip 20%. Because of this policy, I chose not to get any drinks here. I don't mind the 20% charge per person, but I'm not paying it twice when it's really one order.

I recently tried the flat top elk burger for the first time and wasn't a fan—it just didn’t suit my taste. On the bright side, the sweet potato fries were excellent, and the raspberry crème brûlée was also a standout. The Caesar salad was just okay. The bison burger was decent but nothing special. My son had the homemade mac and cheese, which we found a bit bland and lacking in flavor. That said, the service was great—our waitress was very sweet and attentive, which made the experience more enjoyable overall.
