Nice park and watershed. We're cleaning it on behalf of Arcadis and found so much plastic garbage which we should be worried of.

clean fun place but there needs to be something blocking you from falling into the water one portion in the front has a little bridge and raised edges but going into the playground area on both side if you get too close like while putting something in the trash or chasing a toddler someone can fall in because there's a slippery steep drop only a few feet but there are also snakes I haven't seen any in this very part of the park put the steam goes pretty far and in different spots you will see moccasin snakes and maybe other kinds and many spots are safe but not near the playground itself they also have a skateboard park in the front opposite of the playground and trails to walk on also with small bridges or fences to stop you from falling in water

nice little park nestled into the rec center. staff in the center is incredibly friendly and so are the parkgoers. overall tight little spot. skatepark is not huge---just a few boxes with coping, a couple small ramps and stair sets. really great for beginners, but veteran skaters may get bored a bit quickly. I've been told there are free skateboard classes there on certain days, which is extra rad if you're looking for vert, hit Kennesaw, Brook Run, or Midtown
