I was craving a good muffaletta and found this place on Google. The sandwich was very good. The bread was toasted just right. The olive relish was a good balance, and the meat and cheese were perfect. The restaurant is a very comfortable design that makes it seem you are on vacation somewhere else. We went on music bingo night which was pretty fun. I would definitely play again. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken it didn’t wow me. I felt it lacked flavor and didn’t really have the lemon pepper taste, it was decent. Service was good but at times it was slow since there was one lady serving the whole area playing music bingo.

Have been a fan of Atkins Park Tavern for almost 15 years and the key reason for my love and loyalty is best summed up in two words: Deliciously Consistent. Take today’s informal meal, for example; I was hungry bordering on hangreh as I’d been so busy I’d missed 2 meals in succession and was in the Smyrna area, so… a quick stop to Atkins Park was in order. One bacon lettuce wedge and she crab soup later, all was right with the world. Also, I am not a gin drinker, but the Purple Frenchman- one of the most magical summery cocktails I’ve managed to enjoy in awhile- was the perfect accompaniment. Atkins Park Smyrna is laid back, non pretentious, great service (their staff is also loyal so you’ll also notice that consistency as well) and there is an earnestness and care in every dish and drink they offer. And the end results can not only be seen, but tasted!!! PS - And this is just the basics that they offer- they have all kinds of social stuff too like an unrivaled oysterfest every Spring and weekly trivia nights!!! They deserve all the stars! Highly Recommend!
