My husband and I took the Pickleball 101 series with Coach Shannon. I had never picked up a paddle before my first lesson so I was nervous! Coach Shannon made it fun and easy to get started…he begins each lesson with a summary of what skill we were focusing on that day and explained how we would spend our time. He made us feel welcome and we began to have fun right from the start. Each lesson of the series of 4 can be taken individually and you don’t have to take them all if you don’t want to. In addition you don’t have to take them in a certain order. You also have many different times each week to continue taking lessons which is really helpful if your work week is irregular. You pay for each class individually so there’s no issue of buying a set of classes and then losing money if you have to unexpectedly have to miss a class. Also you can take the series more than once to get the skills down. The lessons were thorough and so much fun. Finally and most importantly, Coach Shannon is the best! So friendly, so helpful and a great teacher. Loved how he didn’t make me feel embarrassed when I messed up or couldn’t grasp a skill. He is patient and a joy to be around. Great sense of humor too! Anyone looking to begin pickleball, don’t hesitate to head over there and get started. You’ll be happy you did!

This is really an amazing way to play pickleball. The indoor courts are really fun it definitely feels like playing outdoors but without the sun, heat and winds. Members can choose to bring their paddles or choose from the collection of paddles available for them, it’s a reservation based center. You have to make a reservation in advance, through Court Reserve, The membership prices are really worth it if you play at least couple of times a week in a month. $8 per hour for nonmembers who reserved a court and wants to play , which is a fair price if you planning on playing few games with your friends. Both members and non members can reserve a lane. You can rent any paddle of you choice that is available on display. The staffs are really nice and knowledgeable, they can help with anything you need. also the atmosphere is really wonderful. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Open play is consistently inconsistent …you always allow anyone to sign up for any level and it creates such a negative experience for everyone. Make people declare a level and stick to that for a reasonable amount of time. Done playing Open Play at APC.

I visited recently for coaching with Coach Ortiz. The facility was clean, accessible, and everyone was very welcoming. Coach Ortiz was outstanding and is a very skilled coach. He was very attentive in listening to my goals, evaluating specific elements of my game, and jumping right into skill development exercises. I felt that my time was well spent. I was equipped to apply the new learning during my subsequent court sessions, and I am looking forward to coming out regularly to work with Coach Ortiz. Thank you!
