Atlas Stationers brought me so much joy which I accidental stumbled upon them in Chicago. I stayed for hours and tested the pens and markers and wandered through rows of journals like a kid in a toy store. I’ve been looking for a flat-lay grid dot notebook forever and finally found the one—a Rhodia with smooth paper and a format that’s nearly impossible to find. I’ve tried Moleskine and the others, but this one felt like it was waiting for me. The staff didn’t rush me (even after closing). They were patient, kind, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping with all my little obsessions. I left with exactly what I wanted and already can’t wait to go back or make special orders online. If you love writing tools, beautiful paper, and getting lost in your own little world for a while, this special find is IT.

Staff is very passionate and welcoming, the store has a nice atmosphere. Very good selection that I had difficulty choosing what to buy without taking everything! Hope to visit again when I'm back in the area.

I LOVE stationary. I went to Japan and went crazy over stationary of course. I’ve been to Muji in the US and some stationary stores in DC (around where I live). This one is the closest one (comparable) to Itoya (another store in Japan well known for stationary) that I visited thus far. I asked questions about .38 vs .5 vs .7 pens, and the first person, the greeter, seemed to know what I was looking for off the bat. She saw my planner - a hobonichi- and explained qualities about certain pens that I had complained about and suggested other pens as well- very specific. I would HIGHLY recommend Atlas Stationary. It’s not expensive unless you're you're like me and buy every single color if I like the way it writes lol. They had so many brands of planners, pens and different items similar to what Itoya in Japan has, I just bought what I didn’t have and some back ups 😆 Gorgeous wash tapes and sticker books for those who love their hobonichi or avec, poketo, etc... So on my time crunch (1 hr), I spent around $400…- and enough for 3 people to comment on my basket. Again- a time crunch. If you gave me just another 30 minutes, I would have gotten more!

I just got my very first fountain pen at today’s stationary festival. The team was so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, and the festival was a great time. I’m excited to write some letters!

The team at Atlas Stationers has the perfect balance of knowledge and enthusiasm about their product. They will treat even the newest pen enthusiast, like myself, with seriousness and respect. All of my fountain pen purchases were made here at this store. Again, the staff is incredible. Alex was fun, easy going and really listened to what qualities I wanted to get in my first fountain pen. I still use that pen everyday. Alvin was patient and detailed when helping me purchase a higher end pen. We tested out so many pens, and while that can be super over whelming, he made the whole process enjoyable and easy to understand. Chloe was also someone I worked with when choosing the right fountain pen. When going through all of the possible pens I could own, she was descriptive in a way that explained the experience of each design. It really helped confirm that I was making the right choice. And that’s important when you are going to spend money on this hobby! I highly recommend going to this store if you want the best costumer service around!
