Stopped by for breakfast the other day and enjoyed a delightful meal with some tea! The atmosphere is modernist and very clean, which I greatly appreciate. The American Breakfast was quite hearty, and my server Freddy gave me some good recommendations of my meal when I was stuck between choices. Had ordered French fries and salmon; the fries came earlier with a big portion and tasty but the fish came with a strange ton of onion cooked sweet and a purée of potato that from the waiter was sweet because it’s made with yoghurt! He couldn’t care less and left right away. My waiter was just ok, but had to wait when she will finally look in my direction so I can ask for what I needed. A little disappointed as it was my last dinner in Chicago and since it was raining close by; but too bad. And the restroom is downstairs with passcode that for many times I couldn’t get it right……hope it’s better for next time!

We had a lovely breakfast at Atwood. I had a custom omelette with feta, spinach, tomato and onion. They don’t have the feta and spinach on the menu but were able to accommodate the request. Their tea was nicely served with the teapot, honey and lemon. Reasonable pricing. Would recommend and return.
