I like this daiso but I’m starting to suspect maybe there’s some stocking issues. I went in there and bought these green leaf things to put on my wall (picture of it below). There was the only 2 left when I originally saw it 3 WEEKS AGO!! And I decided the following week to just buy the two thinking maybe once they see it’s empty they’ll restock it. I asked the lovely associate when they restock and they informed me weekly. Well I’ve been back almost 7 times in the past two weeks and it still hasn’t been restocked. Idk if whoever is in charge of stocking is thinking that no one is looking for it or if this item is just a 1 time thing but. It would be nice to have it actually restocked.

As of October 2024, following Google Maps will lead you to a different building, and you won’t arrive at DAISO, so please be cautious (a correction request is in progress). DAISO is located between Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works in the same block, so it’s best to use one of those stores as your destination when driving. Out of the three DAISO stores in Austin, this one seems to be the largest with the best selection of items. The selection of products from Treepy, Daiso’s premium brand, was also quite good. It was pretty crowded on the weekend, possibly because it’s still newly opened, so I’d like to visit again on a weekday to take my time! :)

Today, June 29, at around 11:00 am I had a somewhat of a bad experience with the Daiso staff who were laughing in the back and not checking out customers like myself. I stalled time to see if anyone would be at the cashiers by the time I had came back, and no one did. In the end, I left my 3 items and went on with my day.
