What a wonderful place!! I took my girlfriend here for a pottery making date, and it was a super fun time. We both made 3 pieces each, and got to decorate them as well. Our teacher, Kelly, was awesome and incredibly helpful. She’s really passionate and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and now we want to keep making pottery!

I really enjoyed the One time Hand Building class with Patty. It was a great introduction to pottery making. The 2 1/2 hours for the class just flew by. The class was properly socially distanced with only a max of 6 students per session. I'm definitely looking into going for more classes.

Highly recommend taking classes at Austin Pottery! Everyone there is so knowledgable and friendly, from the teachers to the staff to the longtime members. They've built such a wonderful and welcoming community in their studio making new students feel right at home, and inspired. I had the pleasure of being taught by Patty, who was the right balance of hands on vs hands off teaching. She was really able to teach me quite a bit during the 8 week class. I still have and use all of the pieces I made back then. If I was still living in Austin, I'd still be going to further my skills at AP!
