I have been outside since 2011. I only say that i am very experienced in homelessness. I have visited every Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Arlington shelter a few times a piece. Austin Street facility and staff is absolutely the finest shelter in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Clean quiet necessities resources and transitioning housing. I even share with others about the care i receive. Thank God i was willing to check in. One last thing, the new Stewpot is across the street.

I was introduced to this Homeless Shelter by one of they're volunteer's named Thomas who having heard about the hardship I was facing, didn't hesitate to offer his assistance. He called a leading advisor named Candace who informed me about the location and showed great kindness in light of my circumstances. I didn't meet the criteria of being allowed to enter because I was one year younger. I am 44 years old! But they gave me assurance that they will offer me additional recomendations that will suit me. Both of these individuals are recognized by me as loyal ambassadors of Jesus Christ and Thomas, though a volunteer. He has shown leadership qualities and initiative that will make him a valuable tool in the hands of Jesus Christ during the last days. Thank You Thomas and Thank You Candace! Sincerely, Mark Galati

This place is evil, I was kicked out today for something I didn't do. A staff worker was threatening me and cussing at me. I am a overnight worker. The rule at the shelter is overnight workers are allowed to stay in the dorm. The guy staff also threatened me saying he is going to put gloves on to beat me up. I didn't feel safe so I left. These ppl will not help, they with threat and bully you. Don't go if you have a mental illness.
