I had an amazing experience at Austin’s Very Own Saltt! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed meal with a touch of local charm. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was absolutely exceptional. The chicken was perfectly crispy and seasoned just right, while the waffles were fluffy and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

This was my wife’s, and my, first time coming into Saltt. We came in for lunch and we ordered the popcorn shrimp and the fried catfish. Overall, the experience was pretty great! The customer service was absolutely excellent, all the staff was very nice and you definitely feel welcome inside of the restaurant. The food itself was very tasty. I didn’t feel like I was eating at just any other seafood place. The only reasons I didn’t give it five stars was because I felt like there was a very slow pace to the service. That afternoon we weren’t in much of a hurry so it didn’t make a huge difference, but had we’d been on a time crunch, it definitely would’ve been a problem. Ultimately we did have to wait close to 30 minutes for our food to come out and as we were waiting, we noticed there was a lot of plates that would just sit on the bar waiting to go out. I’m not sure if it’s a staffing issue or what it could be, but it definitely felt like it should not have taken that long. Had there been something wrong with my food, I would probably not mention anything seeing how long it took for my original plate to come out. With that being said, once the food did come out, it was piping hot, it tasted fresh, and we really enjoyed it! Overall, I definitely think we will come back, and I know that if the restaurant just takes into consideration those minor changes then it will make itself, and the overall customer experience, that much better.

First time visiting this restaurant after learning about it, and it was an enjoyable experience! The food was delicious. I ordered a brunch entree— shrimp and grits with eggs, bacon and toast. The shrimp and grits wasn’t like the typical creole shrimp and grits yet still tasty! Excellent presentation and customer service! It was great speaking with Brandon as I learned more about the restaurant. The shrimp fried rice was very good as well! There are televisions to watch. I had a moment of nostalgia when I noticed the NBA Jam game! Congrats again to you all and best regards!

Tried Austin’s Very Own SALT and was pleasantly surprised! The fried chicken had a light, crispy batter—not too heavy or greasy—and paired perfectly with their flavorful fried rice. But let me tell you… the waffle stole the show! Soft, golden, and just the right amount of sweet. I’d go back for that waffle alone. Cozy vibe, great portions, and a solid spot when you’re craving comfort food with a twist.

Delicious food, strong drinks, and a fun vibe! The food and drinks were absolutely tasty. The cocktails were strong and pretty—Saltt offers a full bar with a great variety of daiquiris to choose from. I’m usually not a fan of grits, but I have to be honest—these were the best grits I’ve ever had. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp was simple yet perfectly done, with tender, flavorful shrimp that hit the spot. Located near convenient shopping and family-friendly activities, this is a great place to visit with both friends and family. Highly recommend!
