If you're sick of going to California and having to decide whether to leave your gun at home or stop before the Colorado River and 1) make your firearm all but useless and 2) hope that you remember how to navigate the never-ending maze of firearm restrictions in California, should you come in contact with law enforcement, you now have another option: acquire your CCW license with the help of AZ CCW Online and its partnerships with the Riverside and San Bernardino County Sheriff Offices. Yes, you will have to sit through 12 hours of online video classes, but I found them to be both entertaining and informative. The aforementioned maze of CA gun rules is made perfectly clear by the instructor, who actually provides his real-world experience of having to use his firearm to defend his life and the lives of others. The process of obtaining the needed documents (fingerprints, identification documents, etc.) uploaded with the assurance of being in good order can only be described as a White Glove experience. These folks handle it all with amazing communication and attention to detail. Nothing can throw off an application process with any government entity than not ensuring Is are dotted and Ts being crossed, and they make sure everything is in good order so that all you have to do is provide the information. They will even assist in the live-fire qualification so there is no need to leave the Phoenix metro area in obtaining the ability to legally carry your firearm in California. I cannot recommend this service provided by AZ CCW Online enough. In my opinion, if you're looking to legally carry your firearm in California as an Arizona resident, they should be the first, and only, people to contact.

Couldn’t have asked for it to be any easier. The online class itself was really informative and covers what you should know. The instructor was hilarious but very informative, I took a class 14 years ago and let it lapse, so I researched and found this class online. Nice little brush up.
