If you are looking for a delicious and satisfying burger in Salt Lake City, look no further than B&D Burger. This place has been serving up fresh and juicy burgers since 1981, and they have a loyal fan base that keeps coming back for more. I visited their location near the UofU campus and ordered the Pastrami Burger, which comes with a 1/4 lb. char-broiled beef patty, sliced pastrami, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and special sauce on a toasted bun. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had - the beef was cooked to perfection, the pastrami was tender and smoky, and the sauce was tangy and flavorful. The fries were also hot and crispy, and the portion was generous. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend B&D Burger to anyone who loves burgers and wants to try a Utah favorite. Update (2/19/2025): I went to Salt Lake City last week and tried the B&D burger again. I can confidently say that the burger they serve here is one of the best I’ve ever had. The pastrami is perfect, and the shake is different from other places. Don’t hesitate to stop by if you want to have a great time with your family and friends!

I love this place. I used to go here all the time when I went to the U. The reason I’m leaving a review now is, I came in on a Sunday and the kid that worked here seemed like a had a tough day. He was still polite and kind and it was very appreciated. Solid burger spot with good service. Def worth the stop.

The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the French fries and fry sauce. The gyro sandwich was very good and had an middle eastern taste to it. My husband enjoyed the mushroom hamburger with a rootbeer-float on the side. With our meal, we spent $28. The atmosphere felt like a hotel dining room. The service is very good as well.

I have only been there once, they seemed short staffed, one Cook, one shake maker, one counter person. The food was good but their sign read fried zucchini, fried mushrooms and they didn't have either, only fries or onion rings, but what would you expect when they are so close to the U of U. I only have two complaints, a long wait and no smiles. But maybe I will try them again on my next visit to the City.
