UPDATE!! i came here at 1am after a night out at the club and asked for a miller high life. they were in the cutest bottles and I was delighted. Only $3 too! For years this had been a reliable dive on South Broadway that I enjoyed and regularly stopped into, but after this last weekend I will not be returning. My girlfriend and our friend were playing big buck hunter and were approached by a pushy regular who wouldn't leave them alone and kept trying to grab the gun from them to "show them the right way to play". When they politely declined many times, he threw a fit and unplugged the machine. We told both the bartender and the owner who was pointed out to us, and neither of them did anything at all, just shrugged. You won't be getting any more business from me or my friends

Badges is your classic dive bar: cheap drinks, a sticky floor, and a whole lot of character. This is the best bar on South Broadway, Joey the bartender is the main reason why people love coming here. UPDATE 6/26/25 Just wanted to add an edit to my review, so apparently Joey no longer works here... huge bummer, now there is a new bartender, I think her name is "Reina" (extremely rude). This bar is now very intolerant and unaccepting to people with alternative points of view and/or political preferences. Let this be a warning to everyone, your money is better spent elsewhere.
