Easily accessible park. It is right off the highway. There was ample parking when we went. You have to go through this bridge. The highlight is the picnic area. There are also grills available. There is also a kayak/canoe launch area which is a scenic spot. We foraged wild plums in the summer. You can also park at the Argo park lot and walk the bridge to get to Bandemer. The stretch of the B2B trail we walked on is stroller accessible. Lastly, the restrooms look like they are compost toilets, without water.

Took advantage of the BEAUTIFUL weather today and investigated this park, as well as the Argo Nature Area and it was amazing. Very clean, well maintained trails, lots of bathrooms. The fall leaves are super beautiful, I saw some hawks flying and other waterfowl by the river. Very relaxing. I walked across the dam and that was lovely too.

*HIDDEN GEM* It’s not the easiest walk from downtown (some of the sidewalks are right up against the road). But it’s a relative oasis once you get there! Make sure to bring your water bottle, and be prepared for a very minimal bathroom.

Great place to reset within nature. Well kept. Best for disc golf or taking a nature walk.

A beautiful park right off the 23/14 freeways. Great for biking, trail walking, running... It is also an easy entrance point for a canoe or kayak. There is a Frisbee Golf Course, a dirt biking course (with big mounds) tucked in here too. It is not on the map but it is there. People often come here to fish under the freeway or along the banks. Today is a quiet lovely summer evening and it is a perfect place to be. Someone had even put locks on the bridge (like the love locks bridge in Paris).
