Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden in Austin’s Rainey Street Historic District is an excellent place to enjoy great food, drink, music, and people watching. Staying at the nearby Cambria Hotel, I had walked by here a few times and thought to myself that this would be a nice place to hang out and imbibe. I was not disappointed. By the time I actually arrived , after a soccer match, it turned out to be about five minutes before closing time. Nevertheless, they welcomed me, and I was able to enjoy a couple of fine sausages, and beer from one of 101 taps on this side of the facility (there are 101 more taps on the other side!). To order, I had the Jalapeño Cheddar Bratwurst and the Spanish-Style Chorizo, both of which came with a pile of hand cut fries. OMG, they were both absolutely delicious; well prepared and very tasty, fries included. Very much recommended… but please come earlier than I did. Very much recommended.

Stopped in on a hot summer Saturday night. Great atmosphere and quick service. We got there around 530p and no wait for a “self serve table.” Various spots to sit from outside to inside. I got the Saturday ribs and they were fantastic. Would definitely get them again. Wife got sausage and it was excellent. Lots of choices to choose from. They even had a gluten free menu. And the dog even got sausage. Love music was awesome. We were at front table and it was loud for conversations. Just an FYI. Very dog friendly and chill staff which is a plus. Highly recommended.

Bangers in Austin, Texas, truly knows how to throw a sausage event! For just $30, we indulged in five mini sausages. Their beer selection was outstanding, featuring a Dunkel—such a rare find! It was amazing to see such a wide range of beers on offer. Ordering was a breeze—just scan a QR code, add your items to the cart, and checkout. The service was quick and efficient, bringing everything right to our table. Out of the five sausages, the standout was definitely the Al Pastor sausage, served on a pita with a chunky salsa. The flavors were incredible, and the unique bread added an extra special touch. The Chicken Bacon Ranch sausage was a close second—such a great twist on a classic flavor combination. I loved how each sausage came with a different type of bun, adding a unique twist to every bite. For dessert, the Snickers ice cream was the perfect sweet finish—rich and indulgent, just like the ice cream bars we all love. With plenty of space indoors and out, plus live music, Bangers made for a fantastic experience. Highly recommend checking it out!

Banger’s is a must-visit if you’re into great sausages and an even better beer selection. The variety of sausages was impressive—everything we tried was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re into the classics or something more adventurous, they’ve got you covered. The beer list is massive, with options for every taste, from craft IPAs to smooth stouts. The atmosphere is lively and laid-back, perfect for hanging out with friends. Great food, great drinks, and great vibes—what more could you ask for?

We visited Banger’s several times during a recent trip to Austin and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. The food is great, especially the fried cheese curds and the Snickers Bar in a Jar dessert. We also tried a variety of their sausages, and every one was delicious. The beer selection is seriously impressive, with 205 beers on tap, including a large section of nitro beers. There’s something for every beer lover here, and the prices were very reasonable given the variety and quality. The atmosphere is casual and fun, with picnic tables both inside and outside, plus a bar area. All ages were welcome. While kids aren’t allowed at the bar, we saw families with children at the outdoor tables. It does get busy during dinner hours, so be prepared for a bit of a wait if you want a table. You can also grab a seat at the bar without waiting if you're okay with that option. The staff was friendly and helpful every time we visited, which made the experience even better. On one evening, a live band was setting up as we were leaving, so it seems like there's live music on occasion too. Banger’s is a great spot for good food, excellent beer, and a fun, welcoming vibe. I highly recommend it and I'm looking forward to going back!
