Visited for the first time last night and this establishment is definitely not a welcoming space for working-class POC. Which is ironic, given its location and THEME exploiting Mexican culture. The bartenders are slow, it takes a long time to get any drinks, and they actively discriminate. If you don’t look like a transplant or you’re not wearing business casual clothes, they assume you’re not there to drop big bucks. Heavy-set bartender with curly hair went out of her way to deliberately ignore us— two young Latino patrons— even after i flagged her down twice. I understand when an establishment is busy, and am very patient. But they attended two patrons who went up to the bar after we had been standing there for a good minute. It was extremely disrespectful and unwelcoming. Which is unfortunate, because the locale is beautiful! But there is work to be done to provide a non-stuffy atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone.

It was a very small place for a happening spot. Drinks are expensive but really cute. Definitely a stylish place to be. Upstairs bar and an outside patio with a few chairs and tables. Go with big groups. But the wait maybe long. It’s great because summer is almost here and ready for the crowds.
