Also, I see this place fitting in the niche that Dr. Brew and other tea spots once held. Amir has a great vision for the space after talking with him. As it's in Old Town/Chinatown, the only parking option is street parking, which made me a little uneasy due to the presence of many homeless individuals. I felt unsafe, so after parking, I quickly made my way into the store. The shop itself is definitely unique and intriguing, with one side dedicated to a tea house and the other to clothing. There are only four tables available for enjoying tea. The tea selection is limited, and the tea we had was fairly ordinary, especially considering the price. While I appreciate Barnes and Morgan's attempt to stand out by combining a tea house and a clothing store, I think they need to define their identity more clearly. Perhaps it was the neighborhood that contributed to my unease, but I'm not sure if I'd return to Barnes and Morgan for tea with friends.

We stumbled upon this welcoming space to have some tea, but stayed when Amir shared his incredible journey from being a textile engineer by day to his ambition of revitalizing the neighborhood in his free time. He poured us this beautiful white tea that was so delicious!! In the back, he showcases his great taste in fashion and designs he’s brewing. Can’t wait to come back!!

This place is such a gem! Amir, the owner has an incredible story and vision for this place. I could spend hours listening to him talk about his varied experiences combining textiles and tea. Not to mention the delicious tea and well designed space. You can tell he’s put his heart and soul into the space. The back room with one of a kind couches and his working space are equally as special. The other woman working there designs their ice cream flavors and was so welcoming. We had such a lovely time and can’t wait to make this a regular.
