I used to tutor here quite often. I had the honor of tutoring students (of both genders and various nationalities) from the University of Miami. This library had a very quiet area for discussing curriculum and syllabus. I was happy to drive a very far distance to meet students here. Unfortunately, this entire mall is nearly shut down and no longer open to the public. There is now a few shoppes still open such as a restoration hardware oulet and a McDonald’s up the street where I have stopped to grab a bite to eat. I am grateful that this bookstore was available, as a student felt safe to suggest it as a location to meet and would purchase a beverage. Unfortunately I also lost a pair of sunglasses in this place…and they were never turned in or returned to me. This made me sad at the time, but I recovered. I would suggest coming here if the destination still exists.
