As a gym owner, group fitness instructor, & personal trainer I sometimes have too high of expectations when I walk into a new studio… but this location hit the mark on everything. Such a friendly staff, high energy, clean, & an incredible workout. If you haven’t tried Barry’s yet, I highly recommended going. Modifications for beginners to advanced levels- it’s a quick pace workout but I never felt lost as a newbie! Thanks for a great start to my Sunday!

Josh had the best energy! His cues were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated that he gave options for rest if needed. He was very encouraging and positive with great energy, even though our class was small. Truly such a great instructor!

All of the instructors at Barry's are amazing, but Brittany is my favorite instructor by far! I adjust my schedule as much as possible to attend her classes. Do not expect her to take it easy on you, she will push you hard and consistently question if you can give a little more. Always providing detail on what exercises are coming up so you take the right weights. For someone who used to play sports, she makes me feel like an athlete again always continuing to push my limits. A big shoutout to Brittany - this is your sign to take her class!

I was visiting from San Diego and took Erika’s Arms & Abs class on Monday—easily the best Barry’s class I’ve been to (and this is coming from a longtime Barry's gal with 1k+ classes under my belt). From the moment class started, Erika brought an energy that was both motivating and welcoming. She was super engaging throughout the workout—offering clear guidance, checking in on form, and giving individual shout-outs that really made me feel seen and appreciated. Her encouragement pushed me to give that little extra, and I left feeling stronger and more confident. Erika creates such a supportive and high-energy environment—I can’t wait to take her class again next time I'm in Chicago!

Soooooo….lets talk about Barry’s I am in love. I have never been until now. In the 90s I remember hearing about it. But I was still young so of course I would not be able to attend. Now as an adult I took a solo trip to Chicago and saw the fitness studio. Nostalgia came running towards me and I booked it. My first class was on my 34th birthday and I went every day since on my trip. I love everything about it. From the friendly staff to the facility. Staff was friendly, inviting, and motivational. Shot out to Holly, Katie, and Spencer they know how to push you and make you feel so proud of yourself and rewarding. Personally I had been feeling extremely depressed for about 6 months about my body and my capabilities. Let me tell you this was the best thing I could have done for myself to gain back my confidence and abilities in physical fitness. I felt and feel more capable and the self worth and low self esteem about my body has stopped. They made me feel capable and strong of so much more than I gave myself credit for. Thank you to everyone at Barry’s you truly touched my life and I am forever grateful. I’m sad and dark times you inspired me and made me feel worthy again. Thank you!
