I'd give Barry's Hillcrest 100 stars if I could. Love, love, love the instructors. They are fun and entertaining, but also very challenging. I always get a great workout. It's nice because some days I want to push myself hard, so I do, but some days I am just glad to get my body into the Red Room, and nobody makes you feel bad about yourself if you decide to take it a bit easier that day. It's a super supportive community, and the front desk is seriously THE NICEST ever and is honestly one of the only places that still prioritizes stellar customer service. Best of all, I am in my (late) 40's and in the best shape of my life.

Just took my second class at Barry’s with Stevie and she was amazing! Her energy was so motivating and really kept the whole class pumped up. The music selection was on point — it made it so much easier (and more fun) to push myself. I also really appreciated how she gave us options to make the workout more challenging if we wanted. Can’t wait to take more of her classes!

I'm a sloot for Barry's As a former CrossFitter with some battle-worn joints, I’ve been searching for that workout high without reactivating old injuries—and Barry’s is it. The music is loud and intense, the lights make me feel like I’m in a music video, and every class leaves me drenched in sweat and endorphins. Special shoutout to Stevie, who yells “oh ffffu*k" or "shhh*t yahhhhhhh” in a radio DJ voice so iconic it should be trademarked. Brooke is a tiny devil that cooks up the hardest workouts. Vince clapping at me to go faster to hit that "6'5, 7'5" works every time. Angel has an infectious positive energy. Matty always has the best nails and is brings pilates moves I hate but appreciate. Every time they call my name over the mic, I’m basically a golden retriever hearing “good girl” while being handed a peanut butter biscuit. 10/10 would sprint, lift, and dramatically utter "oh f*ck" in the red room again. Sure, my traps feel like they're holding emotional baggage from 2012, but somehow Barry’s makes it all worth it.

Angel was EXCELLENT! Having never been to a Barry's class I was worried : ) She made everyone feel great, knew so many of our names and specifics - even checked in to make sure I didn't forget my glasses - how did she know!? Managing the treads and the floor like a pro! She was honestly really great and it was an AWESOME first impression with Barry's for me and my whole team.
