The basketball court is located in a middle of nowhere. It is a hop and skip away from Dodger stadium. On a hot summer day, you don't have tall trees for shade. The court itself has rough surface. If you fall down, you're going to get bumps and bruises. I can't believe that our local government neglected local parks. They have invested so little money on Recreation and Parks. Kids and adults alike need to stay active and fit. The park provides a perfect place for everyone to exercise and socialize. A society that keeps people indoor all the time would eventually have a large population of sick people in the hospital. Having a nice, well maintained park will keep healthy, happy people all year around. Exercise is not a cure for everything, but it's a start to good healthy lifestyle.

No shade over the playground equipment and minimal parking. NOT the spot for a hot sunny day. My kids had to shelter under the picnic table. The chess boards embedded in those tables are cool tho.
