Walked in with no reservation 12pm on a Saturday and 3 of us were seated right away. FRESH ISLAND FOOD, nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Ordered: Sorrel Rude Bwoy Saltfish & Bake Codfish Fritters Seafood Tostones Jerk chicken & Waffles I gave it 4⭐️ simply bc there was slim to NO saltfish in my SALTFISH dish. Just big, bold peppers and onions

The restaurant is in a shopping plaza with free parking. The decorations were beautiful. You are only allowed 1:30 at your table. The service was good since we went during the day for lunch and the restaurant was mostly empty. I loved my mango French toast it's huge. One friend had shrimp and grits and she found hair in her food. They took care of it and remade her food. They didn't really like the chicken wing appetizer. They also ate beef empanadas.

Casual atmosphere, great service, AMAZING food! We had seafood tostones for an appetizer. I had creole shrimp and grits, best I’ve had anywhere by far! My wife had the jerk chicken bowl, I tried that too, the heat was perfect and the flavors very well developed. I highly recommend this place for lunch.

Due to my work schedule and the restaurant's operating hours, I waited months to finally try out this restaurant. I visited for brunch on a Sunday after church and surprisingly there was no wait for a seat, although I made a reservation ahead of time just in case. The interior gives a nice homey vibe and the staff is nice. The food was a bit underwhelming in my opinion. I ordered a mimosas carafe, beef empanadas, and Island Tings for my entree. The beef empanadas were tasty and my favorite part of the meal. The Island Tings entree fell short of my expectations around flavor. It wasn't nasty, just not as robust and flavorful (callaloo and eggs) as I hoped for. They were also out of turkey bacon. The passion fruit butter was amazing though.

Overall it was a 3.75 for me. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, but the service was slow and a bit unorganized. We had to ask for a menu, water, and something else. This was not my 1st here but probably will be my last. Nothing against the place but the food to the price point isn't it for me! $86 est for breakfast for 2 is just Atlanta, Atlanting! Liquid Tax on soft drinks! 😳
