this place is awesome! an especially good resource for students as the price for ceramics classes is only about $175 per ~3 month session. you get all access and they are open until 10PM every DAY except sat/sun!! (open til 5pm on weekends) that is such a good deal compared to studios outside of a college system. the materials are pretty cheap and you can fire as many pieces as you want at no extra charge. i enroll for every session it’s totally worth it. this studio is also open to employees at a slightly higher price and community members at a little more than that, but still more affordable than outside studios. berkeley art studio has great teachers and a variety of programs including photography with a dark room, screen printing, etc! check out their website for more.

Best pottery resource for students and people in the local community. Definitely worth it price wise as a student if you can afford it. Come in outside of class though, seriously. And check out instructors work online if you're wanting to build a specific style or skill set that they are strong with.
