I recently visited the park for a relaxing afternoon, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. One of the most memorable aspects of my visit was the park’s pond, which is home to a lively community of fish and turtles. The park offers a variety of amenities, including a modern playground for kids, free restrooms, a few picnic tables, tennis courts, and walking trails. Parking was easy and free.

It's a nice big park that's kept very clean, with various interesting areas such as a small marsh pond at the back, which my group of plein air painters--both oil and watercolors--captured on canvas. There's also a decent-size swimming pool with a separate shallow kiddie pool and picnic tables, although you can't bring food or drinks into the pool area (but you can have them outside that fenced area.) The photos include my painting of the marsh and the actual view.

What a surprise! This park is incredibly accessible. There are multiple parking spots around the whole park making it easy to be near the one area you plan to enjoy. The park also has a substantial number of large trees including pecans. It's bigger than you would think. It also had a beautiful pond with active wildlife.

Probably one of the worst parks I've been to. We were trying to scope out neighborhood parks. No offense but they are way better parks even at the schools in this place. Maybe when they finish the construction and clean up the water and mow the grass it'll be somewhat enjoyable.
