I’m an ice cream person. I love ice cream and know good ice cream. Their ice cream and topping are just not good. They need better sprinkles and the hard syrup has a funny taste to it. We really need a good soft serve ice cream in Atlanta, however Big Softie has a long way to go unless they change up the way their product taste. I hear the hype but I was underwhelmed. The presentation was good though. Their service can be better too, they served me as if I had been there already, every customer should be treated as if they are new to the store.

First time visiting after dropping someone off at the airport. I had time after, so I decided to stop by since this has been on my list of places to try for a while. I am not sure of the parking situation, I just parked on the side of the street and quickly ordered and left. Cute store with a cute store front. When you first walk in, there is a decorative tile that says “Big Softie”. It’s a pretty small area where you are ordering, but I did notice there is a seating area next to it that I believe is available. I ordered the a swirl of Vanilla and Chocolate Petite size in a cake cone. I did a pretty basic order, so maybe that’s why I don’t get the hype and the raring of the place. I was pretty disappointed after trying the ice cream because there wasn’t anything special about the ice cream or the quality. There was nothing wrong with it, so definitely check it out if you’re nearby. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone or go out of way to visit.

I’ve been multiple times to this place and never been disappointed. The staff is so kind, always smiling while being super busy. They have options for vegan and the flavours are delicious. Even with a classic chocolate vanilla soft serve you won’t be disappointed.
