As a serious duffer who believes in Ready Golf, I have a good time playing here and using the range/practice facilities. I mostly play the par 3 course and my partner sometimes walks along with me. The food in the clubhouse is very good and they might just have the best tots in all of Seattle. Staff is also solid and always friendly and welcoming. Solid neighborhood muni for sure.

One of the First Tee staff members named Albatross ruined my wife and I golf day. The teens Albatross was with were hitting balls into us while putting on the green and they were laughing about it like getting someone injured would be funny. So glad we didn't get hurt and most likely never returning to play here.

While people will often complain about the quality of the 18 hole course or its difficulty, the purpose of public and municipal golf courses is to expand, access and opportunity to non-golfers. The bill wright golf complex and its charitable partners like first tee do exactly that! The driving range is nice with available top tracer features, and a nice beer and large bucket of balls combo for $20. Personally, I wouldn't recommend that a lot of people travel a long way to play this specific golf course. But for those in the area or when it is convenient, the golf course can be quite a good time. Even iIf pace is a bit slow from time to time)
