Billiard Hoang is a rare spot in Seattle where the quality and quantity of the meal was well worth the reasonable price. The space inside won't win any awards, but it was casual, relaxed and had pool tables if you want to play. The menu isn't the largest I've seen in the city for Pho, etc but it had more than enough to satisfy most people. The food we received was absolutely delicious - among the best Vietnamese fare I've had in the Seattle area. Absolutely will be back!

Billiard Huang is a fantastic spot that combines great food, warm service, and a fun atmosphere. The staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive, ensuring you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The menu offers a variety of flavorful dishes, each prepared with care and freshness. What makes this place even better is the setup—two regular pool tables and one traditional table, perfect for enjoying a meal and a few friendly games. Whether you're here for the food, the pool, or both, it's a place worth coming back to.

My first review of this place from 6 months ago dissappeared so this is a report of 2 experiences from this year. This place is the definition of a hole in a wall. It's comical when you see a picture of the exterior and all the pictures and reviews of their amazing food. You tell yourself you must brave the traffic and try the food here. Their wings are amazing. Sticky sweetened fish sauce marinate, deep fried to crispy perfection. We tried the regular wings during our first visit, and fish sauce wings won hands down. I ordered pho the first visit, and found the broth too salty while the meat was nothing special. Hubby ordered the lemongrass chicken, and it was spectacular! He will no longer eat lemongrass chicken anywhere else. In our most recent visit i ordered the grilled pork plate with eggs. That was my favorite by far. Tender meat, flavorful marinate, and the slightly charred caramelization made it a perfect dish. Staff is very friendly, but sometimes it can be tough to flag them down if you need something. The pool hall vibe is also kind of fun. This is a hidden gem. Don't miss out.

Come here for pool and skip the food ( or be cautious what you order) There were small flies and some landed in the food despite trying to swat it away. Coffee was decent and fairly strong. Grilled pork chops were good. Pass on these dishes. shaking beef / bo luc lac - 1.5/10 I tend to get this dish whenever I am at a Vietnamese restaurant. The dish here tastes like a chinese stir fry that was steamed with sauce. It did not even tasted sautee. I prefer the kind where it is more flavorful and seared. I would pass on the egg rolls. It was mostly jicama and taro? Quite bland. 2/10 It came with a sweet chili sauce. Personally I prefer a nuoc cham ( fish sSautee. Parking was a little chaotic. It is like a triangle shape and small. There is street parking but be cautious as not the best neighborhood

Friends kept talking it up, so I finally decided to go see for myself and I was not disappointed. Pho soup was so rich and fragrant and delicious I drank it all. Grilled pork perfectly cooked and seasoning was so good. I ate it all with the egg together. Bahnmi is made with a fresh bagette and so good - when here ordering one is a must. Definitely worth the visit. I regret that it took me so long to get here.
