Definitely fish in here. Not enough shade or places to sit down. Great to bird watch and walk around :) Parking on the side streets next to homes, no official park parking. Water had green sludge and plenty of grocery carts in them but didn't take away from the view. Trash along banks. Graffiti and a nice concrete area fitting for some skating.

This was a pretty and clean park right in the middle of a neighborhood. Lots of trees, turtles and ducks.

Would've been 5 stars nice get away spot but if u don't like constant gun shots I wouldn't recommend this spot for you me and my wife had to leave and get out kids away because it was literally bullet shells all over the ground and we were out there every bit of a hour and I can say we heard shots the whole time didn't go much bother me but my kids I didn't want them in that situation bullets have no name.

I came here for a fishing event held by the Dallas Parks And Rec Dept. Although the pond here was stocked prior to the event, no one caught anything. There was a lot of trash around the pond, and shortly after I sat down on the ground next to my child (who was fishing) I found myself covered in some type of biting or stinging ants. Also, there were two big stray dogs roaming the park that I had to keep my eyes on, but they kept to themselves. Be prepared to park on the street along the outer perimeter, as there was no dedicated parking. Overall my visit was enjoyable. My kids both won prizes in a raffle for the event, they enjoyed swinging on the two swings, and they especially enjoyed feeding the ducks leftover bait. I probably wouldn't visit this park again, but if you live nearby it's probably a decent little spot.

Clean, well kept it's really a nice park. Fishing is terrible. It would be a huge plus if the pond could be stocked with fish.
