Let me start with the positives….our waitress was great and very personable. She made us feel like we were old friends that she was happy to take care of. We started with the Elote Nachos and they were 10/10 definitely recommend! I had the fish and chips sandwich and let’s just say I would not order it again. The fish was very bland. However the fries were great. My fiancé had the Cauliflower burger with sweet potato fries (which are an up charge). I tried his burger and it was pretty good for it to be a veggie burger but I would not order it personally. The restaurant’s ambiance needs a little help as far as cleanliness goes. Some areas of the floor were a little dirty and we were fighting gnats as we were trying to eat. I went to use the restroom and opted out of using the restroom because there was urine on the floor in 2 of the stalls. The restrooms are a shared open concept.

My first experience with Black Tap was an impromptu lunch date with my wife. However, our kids later saw the desert menu and we had to return. Our waiter Andrew was super nice and fun! The manager (Jane Moffitt) stopped by several times to check on us and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere for a weekday afternoon was just right and more people were coming in the door. Nestled in the heart of Victory Park Dallas is Black Tap. Right across the street from where all the action, sports and entertainment happen. Whether getting downtown to get an early seat at your favorite concert or just spending a lazy Sunday afternoon at the patio bar… Black Tap is your place for good food, awesome desserts, great vibes, good music and good times with family and friends! Probably some of the best burgers and fries we’ve had in Dallas. Shakes are fun and tasted good. The chocolate cake that came with the shake was just okay. Highly recommend going during brunch hours to take advantage of lower drink prices!

I came to Black Tap for dinner, and it was AMAZING! Our waiter, Andrew, provided us with exceptional. He was very attentive and provided us with fast and excellent service. The fries pickles, Mexico City burger, and Cookies N Cream Supreme shake was amazing!!! I really appreciated the restaurant validating the parking. The ambiance was amazing, I can’t wait to go back and hope that Andrew is our server again. He was truly amazing and it made for a great experience!

Eddie our server made the experience really special for my nephew’s 10th birthday!! Loved every bite and every minute. I had a vegetarian burger which was surprisingly amazing. My nephew had the beef burger. Review verbatim from my 10 year old nephew: we will definitely come here again!! The all American burger is AMAZING and the crazy shakes are out of this world incredible but they are really huge and I couldn’t finish it all. Everything is a 10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone! Also, you should know that there is a bar. And usually when I go to restaurants with a bar it smells like old wine and beer, but this place doesn’t smell like that at all. You might think I’m a bot made by the restaurant but I’m just really really happy.
