Much better than the nearby dry creek! Not too many dogs and most of them were on leash, the dog owners are polite and nice.the creek is super clean and no dogs playing in the water when I was there. Parking is easier than dry creek trail, still a lot of parking spaces when around 10 am in Saturday morning. Definitely will come back again here.

By far my (and my dog's) favorite "trail walk" in Boulder. We go up and back for a total of about 1.5 miles which is a nice easy break in the middle of the morning. The unpaved portion is a winding path next to the creek with beautiful views of the mountains. If you have the special tag your dog can be off-leash and there are usually several off-leash dogs on the trail whenever we go. It can get muddy in spots after snow and rain, but it's generally well maintained. As of the writing of this review they are finishing up some rehab on a large section of the unpaved trail which should make it have better drainage and be more resistant to erosion. Some dogs and school children go in the creek when it's warmer (my dog will not). You can also easily walk a little further to or from the East Boulder Community Center where there is a dog park.

Ran my own 5k at Bobolink trailhead this morning. This was so peaceful - a babbling brook, views of the flatirons and fields with cows grazing. That was as the easiest run I’ve done so far…. Nice and flat and winding so you don’t get bored with the trail.

I'm an elopement photographer and I shot an elopement back here in May! The Flatirons were perfectly framed in the background and it was very accessible to get to!

Very nice easy trail with bike path and gravel options. Mostly exposed to sun but some shaded parts as well. Great place to bring dogs for a leisurely walk.
