Boulder Creek Festival has gone downhill, it’s not what it used to be. This year the only carnival/amusement rides they had were for small children. Goodbye roller coaster, spinning UFO, or anything even remotely fun for adults or older kids. Not nearly as many vendors, shops or food options were available. Everything was extremely overpriced. Almost Coachella level prices. Paid $18 for a baby sized bowl of mediocre food. $16 for a snowcone. Lots of rude people walking around and a good handful of homeless on drugs. Had to walk 1 mile from our parking spot. The live music didn’t sound good at all. We planned our weekend around this and it was not fun at all. Definitely will never be returning after this year, even though we’ve been repeat attendees for years. Bye bye Boulder Creek Fest, you used to be so fun.

It’s a great festival, however, it’s not 4 days. It’s advertised starting on the 24th, but I asked several venders who were setting up when the start date was and they all said it started on the 25th. The people who run this event need to get their advertising straight or at least let their venders know what to tell visitors.
