Charge you per person not regular $10 per car, no where to fish unless you are on a boat. Not diverse. Very small swim beach and one lil road. Worst reservoir in Colorado by far. I do not recommend at all

One of the most scenic places in and around boulder. Really good trails to walk and jog. Your pets will absolutely love this lake to swim and make new friends with. Highly recommended.

It’s 12$ per person to get in and swim in this tiny square. You can only bring stand up paddle board if you have a permit which is 65$ per paddle board a year which doesn’t include the entrance. It’s not a bad area, by any means, but there are lots of restrictions, and you can get so much more with 12$ per vehicle (so multiple people) in different reservoir.

We visited the swim beach which was beautiful. Well maintained and clean and the water was pleasantly warm. There’s a nice shallow area marked off for kids or people who aren’t swimmers and past that, you can get to the deeper water if you want to actually swim or jump off one of the three floating platforms they have. When we went there was one lifeguard on the beach and one on the platforms, they seemed pretty alert and on top of it. Looks like there’s a restaurant too but it was closed. However, there are indoor bathrooms and lockers too. Definitely had a good time here and we’ll be back!

I have yet to go to the beach part of this res. but have been to the other side to go fishing. You definitely have to be careful climbing around on the rocks while fishing but it's a nice relaxing spot to go for a bike ride and fish. Also a good sunset watching spot.
